ABOUT SACRED GROUND

The Sacred Ground series is the result of my experiences in the Southwest in the Spring of 2000. While traveling and photographing in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado, I was moved and motivated by the colors and arid focus of the landscape. The presence and beliefs of the people who inhabit the land, both past and present, inspired these images.
